ABOUT THE SPEAKER

A mechanical engineer by profession, more than 20 years of rich experience in various functions in engineering domain. Associated with German Engineering Federation (VDMA) since 2014 and presently heading the eastern region and also actively engaged on behalf of the federation across India, on various futuristic topics of engineering like Industry 4.0, Additive Manufacturing etc.

In his previous talks, Sandip has outlined on the digital disruption, Industry 4.0 and its significance to the manufacturing industry and how the VDMA supports the Indian manufacturers towards process optimization through automation. Innovations, problem-solving expertise and highest quality are key characteristics of the German mechanical engineering industry. Taking into considerations the economic viability and benefits for small and medium sized businesses, he has worked thoroughly towards achieving these key characteristics.
