Well, it seems Facebook heard our cries. Community managers are rejoicing after the news that Facebook has finally added the ability to schedule posts and given us new roles for page admin

Facebook’s new feature – best way to utilize our time 

Now we as admin of our pages can schedule posts up to 6 months in advance, with the ability to run posts at least 10 minutes apart. All times will on these posts will correspond to your own time zone. This is the best way in which you can utilize your time when you handle several pages. Just schedule your posts ahead in time so that you can indulge yourself in other productive activities.

Now the question arises “How do I schedule a post to appear later?”

So here is the answer..

1.   On your page on the Status Bar choose the type of post you want to add.

Click the icon  1.   in the lower-left of the sharing tool.

2.   Choose the future year, month, day, hour and minute when you’d like your post to appear on your page .

3.   Click Schedule.

5.   After scheduling a post, you will see a confirmation that will let you know that you can view, reschedule or cancel your post from the page’s activity log.

In addition, you can even backdate the content by choosing dates in the past, at which point the posts will immediately appear in the appropriate time and date on the page’s timeline. 

 

Facebook Added another feature to Assign Admin Roles to Pages 

 So a page manager is now a king and others his associates . A page manager and can do everything from creating ads to moderating comments to promoting and demoting other page administrators. There are five different categories now available on Facebook, there are Managers, Content Creators, Moderators, Advertisers and Insight Analyst. But not everyone has the same level of responsibility. You can limit some administrators to just content creation, some to just moderators, and some to simply analyzing your page Insights.

To set these permissions on your own page, just go to the top right corner of your screen and click ‘Manage,’ then select ‘Settings’ in the drop-down. That will take you to this screen:

Under ‘Admin Roles,’ select the page administrator whose permissions you’d like to change, and select the role for which they’re best suited. Plus there is no limit to the number of admin a page can have!
